Frequently asked questions

Please review frequently asked questions, if you cannot find the answer you are looking for? Reach out to our support team by opening forum thread.

1. How are accepted answers approved?

Only the thread author (the person who created the thread) can accept an answer.  So only one reply per thread can be the accepted answer at a time.

  1. The thread author sees an "Accept" button on each reply
  2. Clicking it sets accepted on that reply.
  3. If a different reply was previously accepted, it gets unaccepted first so only one reply per thread can be the accepted answer at a time

2. What is the forum digest and how do I subscribe?

The forum digest is a periodic email summary of community activity. You can choose your preference on your profile settings page: No Digest, Weekly Digest, or Monthly Digest.

Each digest email includes trending topics, the latest discussions, new members who joined, and the most active contributors during that period. You can also update your digest preference directly from a link in the email without needing to log in.

3. How and where is my signature displayed?

Your signature appears in two places: on threads you create (your original post) and on any reply that is marked as the accepted answer. It does not appear on regular replies.

To display a signature, your account must have more posts (threads + replies combined) than the forum's new user review threshold. For example, if the forum requires 5 approved posts before auto-publishing, you need more than 5 total posts before your signature will show.

Signatures are limited to 300 characters and 3 lines. You can set yours on your profile's Extra settings page.  Limit URL's in your signature to 1-URL or your signature permission may be removed without notice.  NO affiliate links are allowed.

4. I created a new forum thread but I don't see my new thread in the forum list?

New threads from new users require approval before posting. After 5 approvals, your threads will post automatically.
